Chef Jet Tila, whose parents opened the landmark Los Angeles Bangkok Market, tells us how important Mexico is to the incredible Asian food scene of So Cal.
Tila says his dad took seeds years ago to Nayarit and Sinaloa to grow the produce they needed for winter sales.
“To this day” says Tila, “a majority of your Asian produce in the winter come from there. And nobody knows this.” And now you do!
